Shopping is a treat in Rome.  Grab a bargain at the markets, or a chic Italian designer boutique.  Head to the Via del Corso for shoes, bags and clothes.  High fashion can be found around Vias Condotti and Borgognona near the Spanish Steps.  The Trastavere district is the spot for bohemian designs and the Porta Portese Sunday markets.  For fresh produce and flowers, head to the Piazza del Campo dei Fiori.  You can take a three hour escorted walking tour around Trastavere concluding at Campo dei Fiori.

Indulge your tastebuds in a feast of local cuisines.  Dine at a trattoria located in a sunny town square and watch the passers-by or grab a slice of pizza from a street stall.  Remember that if you sit down at the local cafe, the prize of your latte and lasagne could double.  Grab it to go and find a spot to snack al-fresco.
